(CCC), US, has announced an international copyright education partnership as part of its new OnCopyright global education portal with the Centro Regional para el Fomento del Libro en América Latina y el Caribe (CERLALC). CERLALC, an intergovernmental organisation based in Bogota, Colombia, promotes reading, publishing and copyright in the Latin America region.
The first phase of the partnership includes a collaborative series of podcast interviews that cover the copyright landscape in Latin American countries, providing an overview of its main features and current challenges. Podcasts include 'An Introduction to CERLALC's Mission in Latin America,' 'An Overview of Copyright in Latin America,' and 'Publishing in Latin America Today.' Future collaborations will include webinars and copyright certificate courses.
