Non-profit copyright licensing solutions provider Copyright Clearance Center, Inc. (CCC), US, has announced an agreement with Science Press (SP), one of the leading publishers of STM journals and books in China.
Science Press joins The Journal of Chinese Integrated Medicine, Beijing Forestry University and Baishibeng Publishing Group as Chinese publishers using CCC’s core services - the Annual Copyright License and Pay-Per-Use Services - for the licensing of their content.
The Science Press agreement was brokered by global publishing services company, The Charlesworth Group, which CCC hired to expand its services into Chinese language rights licensing.
The Annual Copyright License provides employees at more than 35,000 businesses in 180 countries the freedom to share content with each other while respecting the rights of copyright holders. Pay-Per-Use Services provide quick-and-easy rights licensing options for businesses, academic institutions, government agencies and others to use and share content in various formats, including digital use, print use and republication.
Science Press and other participating rightsholders also have access to RightsCentral, a secure online reporting and communications hub that helps manage rights, update pricing, respond to permission requests and track content usage.
