Cengage, an education and technology company, has announced that Ultimate Medical Academy is giving its thousands of students across the nation subscriptions to Cengage Unlimited, the first-of-its-kind subscription service for higher education course materials. Cengage provides course materials to 11 million of the 20 million higher education students in the country.
UMA students will have access to more than 20,000 Cengage materials, including eBooks and study guides. A subscription includes access to the company’s award-winning digital platforms, such as MindTap. UMA will also provide students with copies of printed textbooks. UMA online students will access their Cengage digital course materials through the institution’s learning management system and Clearwater Campus faculty will facilitate MindTap access to students at the institution’s campus in Clearwater, Florida.
UMA has also selected Cengage to provide institutional services, including enhancing courses with new assessment items and interactive features to enrich the learner experience. Future collaboration will include building out reporting capabilities to support continuous improvement of educational and support services for UMA students and alumni.
