Visible Body specializes in anatomically precise 3D models of the human body, crafted by medical artists with expertise in biomedical illustration. With over 24,000 visual assets available in seven languages, the company’s portfolio includes animations, simulations, formative assessments, and flashcards, which are utilized by more than 1,000 educational institutions worldwide. Further integration into additional science courses at both K-12 and higher education levels is slated for later this year. The acquisition reflects Cengage’s commitment to leveraging innovative technologies to enhance learner engagement and deepen understanding of complex scientific concepts.
The company is also exploring opportunities to expand the use of Visible Body’s 3D models across its broader educational portfolio, signaling a significant step forward in transforming how science is taught and learned.
By combining Cengage Group’s expertise in educational content with Visible Body’s immersive tools, the acquisition promises to redefine science education, offering students and educators unparalleled resources to foster a deeper connection to the sciences.
