ChromSolutions Ltd, a provider of analytical instrumentation solutions, and Wiley, have announced an agreement to distribute Wiley’s KnowItAll spectral software and databases, expanding access to advanced untargeted analysis technologies for scientists working in chromatography and spectroscopy.
By combining ChromSolutions’ hardware expertise with Wiley’s software capabilities, the companies state that customers will gain more comprehensive and user-friendly tools for untargeted analysis, with the aim of enhancing productivity and improving data confidence in complex sample matrices.

From Wiley’s side, Graeme Whitley, Director, Data Science Solutions, underscores enthusiasm for reaching a broader community of scientists through ChromSolutions and presents the partnership as a way to lower the barrier to high-performance untargeted compound identification across critical scientific fields.
Wiley’s KnowItAll is described as a unified, manufacturer-neutral software solution for identifying, analyzing, and managing analytical data across multiple techniques (IR, GC-MS, LC-MS, NMR, Raman, UV-Vis). Powered by Wiley’s comprehensive spectral reference libraries and advanced search algorithms, KnowItAll is positioned to deliver fast, reliable spectral analysis that streamlines laboratory workflows and supports confident decision-making.
The agreement is expected to roll out in the fall, with pilot program opportunities available for early adopters.
