Publisher CIG Media Group, LP, US, a subsidiary of Medical Media Holdings, has announced that it has joined Medscape Publishers' Circle, a collection of journal articles from prominent medical publishers, professional societies, academic and government institutions.
Medscape (www.medscape.com), a source of health information for physicians and healthcare professionals, will offer selected full-text articles from each journal, providing free access to important, peer-reviewed journal articles. The newly added journals from CIG Media include: Clinical Breast Cancer, Clinical Colorectal Cancer, Clinical Genitourinary Cancer, Clinical Leukemia, Clinical Lung Cancer, Clinical Lymphoma & Myeloma and Clinical Ovarian Cancer.
Founded in 1996, CIG Media publishes peer-reviewed, tumour-specific medical oncology journals, all of which are indexed in PubMed. Each year, the company also publishes multiple tumour-specific journal supplements that provide oncology professionals with opportunities to earn American Medical Association-accredited continuing medical education credits.
Via the latest collaboration, CIG Media expects that oncologists and hematologists across the world will be able to access more content that enhances their ability to provide optimal care for their cancer patients.
