EBSCO Information Services’ Clinical Decisions has joined the Coalition for Health AI (CHAI), a private sector coalition committed to developing industry best practices and frameworks to address the urgent need for independent validation for quality assurance, representation, and ethical practices for health artificial intelligence (AI). Assembling a diverse group of stakeholders, CHAI advocates for the responsible use of AI in healthcare, keeping patients and their families as the focus.
Executive Vice President of EBSCO Clinical Decisions, Betsy Jones, says this membership with CHAI will help achieve quality assurance for Dyna AI. Dyna AI has been rigorously developed using qualitative and quantitative research and user testing, adhering to the principles established at the outset of developing our generative AI solution: quality, governance, transparency, privacy & security, and equity. The collaboration with CHAI will further bolster efforts to develop a safe, responsible solution that delivers real-time, evidence-based insights in clinical practice. EBSCO’s Clinical Decisions announced the availability of Dyna AI for Dynamic Health™ and DynaMedex® in July 2024.
