CMA ties up with dental association for journal display in dentists' offices -

The Canadian Medical Association (CMA) has announced an agreement with the Canadian Dental Association (CDA). Under the deal, the former's Canadian Health magazine, which ranked first in Canada in terms of readers per copy in a recent Print Management Bureau (PMB) study, will be sent to 11,000 dentists' offices across the country.

Canadian Health focuses on preventive care and ways to improve personal health, and also provides study synopses from sources such as the Canadian Dental Association Journal (CMAJ). The magazine was already being delivered to waiting rooms in 26,000 doctors' offices and to the magazine racks in 8,000 hospital waiting rooms.

The 11,000 additional copies will bring total circulation for Canadian Health and its French-language counterpart, Sante canadienne, to more than 66,000 copies per issue.
