COPD: Journal of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, a journal dedicated to publishing a range of research on the impact of COPD, has been chosen to become the official journal of the COPD Foundation. Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is an umbrella term used to describe progressive lung diseases, which include emphysema, chronic bronchitis, refractory (irreversible) asthma, and severe bronchiectasis.
COPD: Journal of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease is projected to be an ideal partner for the Foundation as it offers in-depth and easy-to-access research findings in this field. First published in 2004, the journal claims to be the world's first journal dedicated to publishing a range of research on the cell biology, pathophysiology, pharmacology and psychosocial impact of COPD.
Published six times in a year, COPD: Journal of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease is indexed in PubMed and ISI. The journal is available online at http://informahealthcare.com/copd.
