The Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO), an Australian Government Agency, and CHOR, Inc. (CHORUS) have signed a memorandum of understanding to develop a workflow to measure and monitor the use of CSIRO resources and facilities.
CHORUS and CSIRO will work together on a three-year Pilot Project that brings together stakeholders from across the scholarly communications ecosystem to identify and monitor CSIRO Research Resources acknowledgements in publisher research outputs. As part of this project, CHORUS will provide CSIRO with agency and institution dashboard and reporting services.
Together, CHORUS and CSIRO have an important contribution to make to the scholarly community in coordinating efforts to adopt identifiers and standards to manage access to and reporting of research outputs.
