Cambridge University Press (CUP), the publishing division of the University of Cambridge, has announced that it will publish the Journal of Mechanics, the official journal of The Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, R.O.C.
A quarterly publication, Journal of Mechanics is a peer-reviewed, international journal dedicated to the timely publication of original research in all fields of theoretical and applied mechanics, including solid mechanics, structural mechanics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and heat transfer, soil and rock mechanics, vibration and acoustics, dynamics and control, experimental mechanics, computational mechanics, nanomechanics, biomechanics, and molecular dynamics. The journal was first published in English in 1998 under the title The Chinese Journal of Mechanics, Series A, and changed its name to Journal of Mechanics in 2004.
The journal will be hosted on Cambridge's cutting-edge platform, Cambridge Journals Online (journals.cambridge.org/jom), and will include increased usability, increased functionality and many new features to enhance and optimise article usage.
