Journal production services provider Dartmouth Journal Services (DJS), part of The Sheridan Group, US, has announced a partnership with the American Diabetes Association. Under the deal, DJS will offer copyediting, issue management, and composition services to help the Association enhance, streamline, and improve the front-end workflow of two of its premier publications - Diabetes and Diabetes Care.
Slated to begin with the 2011 issues of each title, this collaboration will include the adoption of a highly advanced composition structure through DJS's proprietary service, eGalley. Additional services include production tracking and an electronic author order center for article reprints.
A monthly publication, Diabetes Care provides healthcare practitioners information critical to promoting better management of people with diabetes. Diabetes, also distributed monthly, publishes original research about the physiology and pathophysiology of diabetes mellitus.
