Dove Medical Press acquires Journal of Parkinsonism and Restless Legs Syndrome -

Open access publisher Dove Medical Press, UK, has announced that it has acquired the Journal of Parkinsonism & Restless Legs Syndrome (JPRLS). The journal is written exclusively for the medical and scientific community wishing to read related research, policy, phenomenology, literature, history, and treatment. The journal was created to provide a forum for international debate on the various aspects of Parkinsonism and Restless Legs Syndrome.

According to Founding Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Abdul Qayyum Rana, the journal reports on updates of various types of Parkinsonian syndromes, including Parkinson's disease, atypical, drug induced, secondary Parkinsonism, heredo-degenerative diseases, as well as other movement disorders with overlapping features.

The journal was acquired by Dove and launched in August 2012. Dove is currently accepting new articles that comply with its publishing guidelines. Qualified physicians, professors and other industry experts are urged to contact Dove with new submissions and reviews to feature their expertise and experience in the journal.
