Dragonfly Sales and Marketing Consulting and ACCUCOMS, both providers of sales and marketing services for publishers, have announced a major new agreement for sales representation for the Independent Scholarly Publishers Group (ISPG) in Europe, India, South Korea and Hong Kong. ACCUCOMS currently represents ISPG in Latin America, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and North Africa. Representation for the new territories commenced at the beginning of this year.
ISPG is a collection of highly ranked journals predominantly in the health sciences and life sciences disciplines. The ISPG collection currently consists of 51 journals and 1 eBook series, representing 23 publishers. The journals are published by non-profit scientific societies based in the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada.
The ISPG titles are among the highest impact titles in the world and ranked at the top of their respective fields. All of the journals are hosted on the HighWire platform, a top tier technology platform for influential scholarly publishers.
The agreement between ACCUCOMS and Dragonfly will focus on bringing the premium research and clinical information published by the ISPG publishers to several growth markets, securing mutually beneficial arrangements with consortia, and introducing existing customers in more mature markets to the benefits of the prestigious journals that comprise the Independent Scholarly Publishers Group.
