Digital content products and technologies provider ebrary, US, has announced that all libraries within the City University of New York (CUNY) have subscribed to Academic Complete.
CUNY is a leading urban public university serving more than 480,000 students in New York City. Twenty-three institutions including Baruch College, Hunter College, and City College of New York can now offer students and faculty simultaneous, multi-user access to a growing e-book database with more than 48,400 titles, research tools, and their own digital archives created with DASH! (Data Sharing, Fast), a complimentary, do-it-yourself e-publishing feature of Academic Complete.
Academic Complete is an interactive eBook database that covers all academic subject areas. The collection currently includes more than 30,000 titles from more than 220 of the world's leading academic, STM, and professional publishers. It continues to grow at no additional cost to customers throughout the subscription term. The database is available 24/7 through any web-enabled device including the iPad. Additional key features and benefits of Academic Complete include text-to-speech and other accessibility features; continued collection growth at no extra cost throughout the subscription term; free MARC records; COUNTER-compliant usage statistics; and multiple options for searching, navigating, and browsing.
