The Kuali Foundation has announced EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) as one of its latest Kuali Commercial Affiliates (KCA) within the Kuali community. EBSCO will provide expertise in seamlessly integrating discovery services with the Kuali OLE (Open Library Environment) for enhanced access to both print and digital library collections.
As a global leader, EBSCO provides online research databases and discovery services - more than 375 learning and reference products - to corporations, universities, libraries and other institutions around the world.
EBSCO is partnering with Kuali OLE to look at flexible integration options for discovery service layers for the Kuali OLE community.
Kuali is hosting a session at ALA-Annual in Chicago to discuss the EBSCO/Kuali OLE KCA partnership and the overall collaboration objectives. The session will also present specific use cases for OLE discovery layer implementations at University of Chicago, the University of Pennsylvania, and Indiana University as well as offering a demo of the latest release for Kuali OLE. The session, Kuali Open Library Environment (OLE) 2013: Functionality, Integration and Discovery, is scheduled for June 29, 2013 at: 2:00-3:00 pm —at the Convention Center—E352, Lakeside Center, Level 3.
