EBSCO Health, part of EBSCO Information Services, has announced an agreement with MEDCOM Inc.
A leader in nursing education for more than 50 years, MEDCOM produces online healthcare training courses designed to give nursing students, allied health students and nurses access to the latest nursing content. The new agreement will allow EBSCO Health to resell a nursing education resource from MEDCOM Inc.
MEDCOM produces highly-regarded videos to help educate nurses and ensure they have the most current information. These videos complement EBSCO Health’s suite of medical research products, such as CINAHL® and Nursing Reference Center Plus™.
MEDCOM’s courses are comprised of video programs that can be accessed through an internet-based learning management system. The courses are developed with the assistance of leading subject matter experts in a variety of healthcare specialties, as well as leading healthcare and professional organizations.
The videos can be used in a classroom setting or remotely through desktop computers, tablets and mobile devices. CE credits are available quickly and easily with test results available instantly. Educators can customise a set of course materials to fit their needs and can include entire programs or desired sections.
