Hard Beat Communications, US, have inked a deal with US-based subscription agent and database aggregator EBSCO Publishing to distribute all text content produced by their news arm, CaribWorldNews, the news agency of the Caribbean Diaspora.
EBSCO Publishing distributes data and information globally to a number of top libraries and institutions. The partnership means the CaribWorldNews content will now be available to an expanded readership and wider demographic. The distribution will add to CaribWorldNews` current text syndication that covers over 30 sites daily via its RSS feeds and news widgets, five social networks and a newsletter that reaches over 10,000 weekly.
The news agency`s weekly audio news cast is aired across the US on 13 radio stations and podcasted on 32 African-American and Caribbean websites. CaribWorldNews is ranked in the top five of Google searches for Caribbean news and is ranked high daily in Google news. The news service was founded by Felicia Persaud in 2005.
