Society publisher EDP Sciences (Édition Diffusion Presse Sciences), France, has announced a new agreement with Cambridge University Press to market and distribute EDPS journals. Cambridge University Press is the publishing division of the University of Cambridge.
Under the new agreement, Cambridge University Press will be the exclusive distributor of EDP Sciences. EDP Sciences' content will be hosted on Cambridge's cutting-edge electronic platform, Cambridge Journals Online. Through this cooperation, both publishers seek to maximise the dissemination of scientific research through Cambridge's global footprint.
Created in 1920, EDP Sciences group is an independent science publisher with 55 scientific journals of which 30 are in English. Timed to coincide with Cambridge Journals Online new redesign, to be launched later this year, Cambridge and EDP Sciences will deliver even more 'must have' research with increased usability and functionality along with many new features to enhance and optimise article usage.
