Not-for-profit publisher EDP Sciences recently signed a partnership agreement with the Technische Informationsbibliothek (TIB) - German National Library of Science and Technology - to support the publication of conference proceedings in a number of STM fields.
The agreement will enable the TIB to publish all German conference proceedings in the areas of Physics, Engineering and Technology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Computer Sciences in the Web of Conferences journal series at a special discounted rate.
Publishing conference proceedings in Open Access results in higher visibility and dissemination for important research. The dedicated Web of Conferences platform has a strong international profile amongst researchers at all stages of their careers, and records over 250,000 downloads per month.
