EDP Sciences reports strong performance in 2016 Impact Factor results -

STM publisher EDP Sciences has reported a strong performance in the recently announced 2015 Journal Citation Reports® (JCR) Thomson Reuters, 2016.

EDP has 20 journals indexed of which over half showed an increase in their impact factor, and 45 percent reported an increase of over 10 percent.

Particular highlights include: Astronomy & Astrophysics reported an 18 percent increase on its impact factor to 5.185, securing its place as one of the leading resources in the field, and sits in the top quartile of the Astronomy and Astrophysics category. Parasite saw an impressive increase of 63 percent on 2015’s results growing from 1.092 to 1.781. Journal of Space Weather and Space Climate now has an impact factor of 2.846 up over 11 percent on last year. Metallurgical Research & Technology received a first impact factor after the name change of 0.500. Aquatic Living Resources moved up from quartile 3 to quartile 2 in the category of Fisheries Science. ESAIM - Mathematical Modelling and Numerical Analysis staying strong in the top quartile of the Applied Mathematics category.
