EIFL extends agreement for Credo Reference Service with Infobase -

EIFL (Electronic Information for Libraries) has announced the renewal of its agreement with Infobase for an additional three years, extending access to the Credo Online Reference Service: Academic Core Collection. This comprehensive online reference database, which features authoritative content from over 900 e-book titles, will continue to be available to library consortia and libraries in 36 EIFL partner countries through 2027.

The Credo Academic Core Collection provides users with a wealth of information across more than 80 major subject disciplines, offering full-text content from encyclopedias, dictionaries, atlases, and reference handbooks. Beyond text, the collection includes access to over 1,000 videos and animations, as well as 500,000 contextual visual aids, images, photographs, and maps, making it an invaluable resource for students, researchers, and educators alike.

The agreement ensures that libraries in the following 36 countries can benefit from discounted access to the Credo Reference Service: Academic Core:

Armenia, Albania, Azerbaijan, Botswana, Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Estonia, Ethiopia, Fiji, Georgia, Ghana, Kenya, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Latvia, Lesotho, Lithuania, Malawi, Maldives, Moldova, Myanmar, North Macedonia, Namibia, Nepal, Palestine, Senegal, Serbia, Slovenia, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Zambia, Zimbabwe.

The renewed agreement underscores EIFL’s ongoing commitment to supporting libraries in developing and transition economy countries, ensuring they have access to essential educational resources.
