EIFL renews EBSCO eBooks agreement, extends discounted access through 2027 -

EIFL (Electronic Information for Libraries) has announced the renewal of its agreement with EBSCO Information Services, securing discounted access to the EBSCO eBooks Academic Subscription Collection for an additional three years. The agreement, which now extends until December 2027, reaffirms EIFL’s commitment to supporting libraries and researchers in its 27 partner countries.

The EBSCO eBooks Academic Subscription Collection provides a multidisciplinary library of over 259,000 high-quality, unlimited-user e-books from renowned academic publishers and university presses. The collection is continually updated, with new titles added monthly at no extra charge. Researchers can access the e-books through the EBSCOhost platform, known for its user-friendly functionality, advanced customization options, and compatibility with mobile devices.

The renewal highlights EIFL’s dedication to bridging the knowledge gap by providing affordable access to essential academic resources in under-resourced regions. Libraries and institutions interested in joining the agreement are encouraged to contact EIFL for further information.

Through partnerships like this, EIFL continues to empower researchers and libraries worldwide, fostering equitable access to knowledge.
