EIFL has renewed and expanded its agreement with World Scientific for one year, extending the arrangement through the end of 2026 and continuing support for open access publishing across a wide range of journals.
Under the renewed agreement, corresponding authors from EIFL partner countries are eligible for waived or discounted article processing charges (APCs) when publishing in 145 World Scientific hybrid or gold (fully) open access journals. Waived APCs apply to authors from 26 partner countries, while discounted rates are available to authors in eight additional countries.
World Scientific, which has operated for more than three decades, is recognized as the largest international scientific publisher in the Asia-Pacific region, publishing journals across multiple disciplines.
The agreement is open to corresponding authors based in countries including Albania, Armenia, Botswana, Côte d'Ivoire, Estonia, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Lithuania, Nepal, Senegal, Tanzania, Ukraine, Zambia, and Zimbabwe, among others.
