Elsevier and NADONA/LTC announce collaboration on eLearning product -

STM publisher Elsevier has announced a collaboration in the development of Mosby's Care Assistant Curriculum with the National Association of Directors of Nursing Administration in Long Term Care (NADONA/LTC), the largest organisation dedicated exclusively to providing education, communication, and services to nurse leaders and nurse executives in the long-term and post-acute care continuum. This online course will serve as a resource for training new nursing hires, transitioning personnel to new units, addressing knowledge gaps, and preparing for annual competency testing.

The course, which is scheduled to launch in 2016, will also help facilities, organisations, and agencies comply with related accreditation and regulatory standards and offer their care assistants an opportunity to earn continuing education units (CEUs).

This new collaboration expands Elsevier's relationships with key professional associations, including the Emergency Nurses Association, American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, and the Association for Nursing Professional Development.
