STM publisher Elsevier, Netherlands, has signed co-publishing agreements with Tsinghua University Press (TUP). The announcement marks another step in the expansion of Elsevier's publishing partnerships with leading Chinese academic institutions.
The co-publishing agreements were signed at the London Book Fair by Jun Feng Zong, President of Tsinghua University Press, and Suzanne BeDell, Managing Director, Science and Technology Books, Elsevier. The agreements between Elsevier and TUP are for a new series on computational mechanics, and for a book, System Parameter Identification: Information Criteria and Algorithms, edited by Badong Chen, Yu Zhu, and Jinchun Hu, which will be published in 2013.
The agreement represents a continuation of strategic partnerships in China, following earlier successful agreements with Zhejiang University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University Press.
