Elsevier, a global leader in research publishing and information analytics, has integrated STATdx, its diagnostic decision support tool for radiologists, into the Nuance Communications PowerScribe® radiology reporting software.
This collaboration enables radiologists to seamlessly launch STATdx within their workflow, creating efficiencies and providing clinical insight when reviewing exams.
The integration benefits include improved user satisfaction with streamlined workflow that helps combat burnout; increased diagnostic confidence and accuracy with seamless access to trusted information; and enhanced reporting with easily accessible decision support that helps radiologists create more robust reports with actionable information for ordering clinicians.
The new integration utilizes the Nuance PowerScribe “Assisted Diagnosis” feature that provides links to radiology resources based upon report content. Radiologists can select or enter text about a topic, and then choose STATdx from the Assisted Diagnosis feature to look for results within context.
