Academic publisher Emerald Group Publishing has announced a 50 percent increase in title inclusion following the release of the 2015 Association of Business School (ABS) Academic Journal Quality Guide, with over 100 titles now included. Higher average rankings across Emerald's portfolios demonstrate research quality and impact, including standout titles in Operations, Logistics & Quality and HR & Organizational Behaviour.
The Journal of Managerial Psychology, part of Emerald's HR & Organizational Behaviour collection, achieved a significant jump in rating to three stars (from one star in 2010), indicating that the journal publishes 'original and well executed research papers' and is 'highly regarded'. The International Journal of Operations & Production Management from Emerald's Operations, Logistics & Quality collection was awarded a four star rating (from three star in 2010), cementing it as one of a handful of leading international journals, with 'high submission and low acceptance rates' and the 'highest citation impact factors within their field'. Both journals are also included in Scopus and Thomson Reuters Social Science Citation Index.
In addition, six further Emerald book series are now included in the ABS quality guide, reflecting the growth of Emerald's books portfolio with quality and impactful content.
