Academic and professional literature publisher Emerald Group Publishing Ltd., UK, has partnered with Consejo Latinoamericano de Escuelas de Administración (CLADEA). Under the deal, both parties will be working together on a number of initiatives to promote management research, education and practice in the Latin America region.
This partnership, created through discussion and deliberation between Executive Director of CLADEA, Dr. Jorge Talavera, and Emerald, will present many opportunities to develop an international network of research in Latin America. In particular, Emerald and CLADEA will collaborate on a journal, to be published both in English and Spanish, whose main focus will be the advancement of good management for the benefit of education, research and practice for businesses and social organizations throughout Latin American.
CLADEA based in Lima, Peru (at Universidad ESAN), is the Latin American Council of Management Schools and claims to be one of the world’s biggest networks of business schools with over 140 institutions as members. Created for the purpose of furthering the advancement of professional management, CLADEA has been active, for a continuous period of over 40 years.
