Emerald posts best ever Impact Factor results -

Emerald Publishing has achieved its best ever Impact Factor results, as it continues to celebrate research impact in all its forms.

Highlights in the data release of the 2017 Journal Citation Reports (JCR) from Clarivate Analytics include: overall citations up by 41%; 93% of Emerald titles see an increase in citations; average Impact Factor increased by 25%, with 77% of Emerald titles seeing higher Impact Factors; the fifteen journals receiving their first ever Impact Factor scored particularly well, with an average new Impact Factor of 1.891; there are now five titles with an Impact Factor over 3.000, 20 titles with an Impact Factor greater than 2.000, double last year's total.

International Journal of Physical Distribution has achieved an Impact Factor of 4.215, while Internet Research scored 3.838; Supply Chain Management 3.833; Journal of Intellectual Capital 3.634; and Journal of Service Management 3.414.

Emerald's 'Real Impact' initiative and the 'Real Impact Manifesto' released in Spring 2018 set out this commitment to supporting meaningful, real world impact.
