Academic and professional literature publisher Emerald Group Publishing Ltd., UK, has announced a 5-year deal with CASPUR (Consorzio Interuniversitario per le Applicazioni di Supercalcolo per Università e Ricerca) Inter-University Consortium for the Application of Super-Computing for Universities and Research.
This agreement provides CASPUR's 27 members with the possibility of electronic access to 17 journals which are included in the Library and Information Studies collection. For 2009, these members include Università degli Studi di Roma La Sapienza (Rome), Università degli Studi Roma Tre (Rome) and Università degli Studi del Salento (Lecce).
Established in 1992, the consortium based in Rome seeks to promote the use of advanced information processing systems for scientific research while disseminating the culture of information and communication technology and their applications.
