EMpact Sales (EMpact), publisher representation group of EBSCO Information Services, US, has announced an exclusive agreement with the Geological Society of London. Under the deal, EMpact will provide sales representation for the latter's electronic and print products in Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Southeast Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam and Indonesia), Australia and New Zealand.
The Geological Society of London claims to be the oldest geological society in the world. The Society provides a wide range of professional and scientific support to around 9500 members worldwide and is a global leader in Earth science publishing. It provides a vital forum in which Earth scientists from a broad spectrum of disciplines and environments can express and exchange ideas.
