EMpact Sales (EMpact), the publisher representation group of EBSCO Information Services, US, has announced that it has been chosen as the exclusive sales agent for The Independent Scholarly Publishers Group (ISPG) in Latin America, Australia, New Zealand and specific parts of Asia (Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam). There will be select publisher participation in each defined region.
EMpact will be representing the ISPG’s journals and related academic content to library consortia, hospitals and other organisations in those regions. The ISPG collection, from a coalition of 17 independent publishers, currently contains 40 high-impact titles, all hosted on the HighWire platform.
