Health information publisher Everyday Health, Inc., US, and the American Heart Association have joined forces to bring the latest cardiovascular news to healthcare professionals. MedPage Today, an Everyday Health property and a fast-growing medical news professional website (comScore), will develop a daily cardiovascular newsletter that will be distributed via e-mail to AHA online registrants.
The e-newsletter, 'Cardiovascular Daily,' which will launch in July 2011, will provide healthcare professionals with robust, in-depth coverage of breaking cardiovascular news. Distribution of the MedPage Today-produced 'Cardiovascular Daily' will be accomplished in phases to reach over 200,000 healthcare professionals who have opted-in to receive news via AHA's website, AmericanHeart.org.
By combining the AHA and MedPage databases 'Cardiovascular Daily' will reach a highly targeted cardiology audience - making it the leading news source for professionals in the cardiovascular community. With its team of medical journalists, and multimedia producers, MedPage Today publishes comprehensive daily coverage of cardiovascular news as well as analysis of legislative and regulatory news from Washington that impacts cardiology professionals.
