The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) has included its graduate works in the ProQuest Dissertations & Theses GlobalTM database, the leading source of emerging research from universities around the world.
The ProQuest database will include existing and future PhD full text-dissertations from this 240-year-old institution. These works will be accessible by ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global users globally and will be broadly discoverable via citations in major subject indexes and Google Scholar, giving BME’s authors more visibility and recognition for their research output.
Dissertations and theses often provide the most up-to-date, comprehensive and unique research on a subject. Now, researchers at more than 3,100 universities globally will have access to BME’s dissertations, along with ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global’s more than 5 million additional works (2.7 million in full text). The library and graduate school at BME can track, monitor and see trends in the usage of their theses by institutions worldwide with the ETD Dashboard.
Cross-searching with other scholarly material on the ProQuest platform simplifies research workflows even further, saving time for users and broadening the scope of their searches.
