Customers in Germany currently using the FBM RightsLink platform, which is operated by Copyright Clearance Center (CCC), will transfer to IPR License's Instant Permissions service at the end of the month.
For Frankfurter Buchmesse, the aim behind the move to IPR License is to have the full range of services in one system, rather than developing and managing two systems independently. CCC is part owner of IPR License and fully supports this transition.
FBM and CCC see the move from FBM RightsLink to IPR License as an opportunity to help customers who have been required to use separate platforms for translation rights and permission rights.
