First Therapeutic Advances series titles accepted for indexing in MEDLINE -

Academic publisher SAGE has announced that the first two titles in its Therapeutic Advances (TA) series have been accepted for indexing in MEDLINE. As a result, both titles will be indexed on the PubMed website. MEDLINE is the National Library of Medicine's premier bibliographic database.

The two journals, Therapeutic Advances in Cardiovascular Disease and Therapeutic Advances in Respiratory Disease, were launched by SAGE in September 2007. The journals publish peer-reviewed articles, reviews, and scholarly comments on emerging therapies in cardiovascular and respiratory diseases. By focusing only on advances in clinical therapies, the journals provide a unique platform for clinicians and researchers to share strategies for disease treatments.

Therapeutic Advances in Cardiovascular Disease and Therapeutic Advances in Respiratory Disease are already indexed in EMBASE, and the titles are regularly reviewed by the Faculty of 1000 Medicine and MEDSCAPE. Indexing in MEDLINE is expected help raise the visibility of these titles even more. All previously published articles in the journals will be indexed retrospectively as well as all future articles.
