Formedics and Elsevier partner to advance digital engagement and sales strategies for global medical societies -

Formedics, a healthcare professional collaboration platform, has announced a new partnership with Elsevier. The collaboration is designed to deliver digital innovation and strategic sales execution for more than 20 international medical societies.

Under this agreement, Formedics will oversee advertising and engagement opportunities across these society partnerships. The initiative includes the deployment of data-driven digital strategies aimed at enhancing peer engagement, enabling precision targeting, and delivering customized content solutions. The collaboration also includes programs designed in partnership with both Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Digital Opinion Leaders (DOLs), supporting the broader objective of fostering medical discourse and knowledge exchange within healthcare communities.

Formedics will assume responsibility for media sales related to the societies’ peer-reviewed journals, covering 11 medical specialties and subspecialties. This encompasses both print and digital advertising, sponsored content initiatives, and a range of digital engagement solutions.

In addition to Formedics' domain-specific capabilities, the partnership enables Elsevier to further develop and apply AI-enabled technologies to support the work of healthcare professionals and researchers across clinical and scientific fields.

Leadership at Formedics emphasized the alignment in vision between the two organizations, noting that the collaboration will support Elsevier’s capacity to focus on innovation in drug discovery and clinical research. The partnership is expected to enhance peer learning and engagement through structured platforms and curated content, with the broader goal of advancing healthcare outcomes globally.
