The Frontiers Research Foundation and the One Sustainable Health (OSH) Forum have expanded their partnership to strengthen the global science-policy interface on health and climate ahead of the OSH For All Forum in Lyon, scheduled for November 2–5, 2025.
The collaboration builds on the OSH Forum’s ten International Working Groups, which include more than 100 experts from over 35 countries working on interconnected issues across human, animal, and environmental health. Frontiers will take on a strategic convening and communications role to help align the network’s research with global policy objectives and increase its collective visibility and impact.
Through this initiative, Frontiers will enhance coordination across the OSH network to maintain consistency among working groups and align their efforts with major global policy frameworks, including those of the World Health Organization, the United Nations Environment Programme, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. It will also strengthen the forum’s communication and outreach, connecting expert insights with policymakers, funders, and civil society to improve the translation of scientific evidence into actionable policy.
The partnership aims to promote collaboration across sectors by linking the OSH Forum’s expert community with the wider open-science ecosystem. It also seeks to embed transparency and trust in the scientific process by ensuring that the evidence supporting OSH recommendations remains open, verifiable, and ready for integration into AI-enabled research and policymaking.
The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to connecting science, policy, and society so that interdisciplinary expertise can inform decision-making at the highest levels. It emphasizes open, actionable science and the translation of research into meaningful global outcomes that address planetary health challenges.
The partnership will be featured at the OSH For All Lyon 2025 conference, which will bring together scientists, policymakers, and civil-society leaders to advance the One Sustainable Health for All vision—an integrated and equitable approach to global well-being.
