This collaboration is set to enhance COUNTER reporting capabilities for Gale’s library and institutional customers worldwide, upgrading to the COUNTER 5.1 standard with access to usage reports dating back to January 2023.

• Updated Data Harvesting Standards: Implementing a new JSON schema for COUNTER 5.1, built on OpenAPI 3.1, will reduce file complexity, minimize metadata duplication, and improve overall efficiency.
