GetFTR expands discovery integrations to improve research access -

Get Full Text Research (GetFTR) has expanded its network with new integrations from discovery services and extended collaborations with publishing partners. Article Galaxy, Piri Discovery Service, and Chemport have joined as new integrations, while Edinburgh University Press and the Geological Society of London have broadened their adoption of GetFTR tools.

These integrations embed GetFTR indicators and smartlinks into references and discovery environments, streamlining access to full-text scholarly content. The expansion aims to reduce barriers in the research process by enabling users to move more efficiently from discovery to access.

Article Galaxy, developed by Research Solutions, provides simplified access to scholarly content across disciplines. Piri Discovery Service, a discovery tool from Inseres, supports efficient navigation of publications. CAS has integrated GetFTR into its STNext platform for scientific IP information. Edinburgh University Press, with a focus on humanities and social sciences, and the Geological Society of London, a leading publisher of geoscience content, have incorporated GetFTR into article references to strengthen discovery and access pathways.

GetFTR stated these integrations support its mission to deliver reliable, real-time access to full-text scholarly resources while promoting research integrity and responsible knowledge dissemination.
