Get Full Text Research (GetFTR) has announced new integrations with Lean Library and Scite to enhance access to scholarly content across academic discovery environments.
These collaborations aim to streamline the researcher journey from discovery to full-text access, reinforcing GetFTR’s commitment to improving usability within scholarly publishing. Lean Library users will now see a widget on their library discovery pages that enables one-click access to full-text PDFs. This integration simplifies content access for users navigating platforms such as Google Scholar, PubMed, and ChatGPT.
The partnership with Scite brings GetFTR’s access indicators into Scite’s citation index and AI-powered assistant. As researchers query Scite, they will receive real-time prompts indicating where full-text is available, facilitating seamless transitions from AI-generated insights to publisher-verified content.
The collaboration aims to make research more efficient by keeping trusted, publisher-verified content at the center of the discovery process and embedding GetFTR’s access indicators directly into researcher workflows through targeted platform integrations.
By aligning with platforms like Scite and Lean Library, GetFTR supports scholarly publications' discoverability and responsible dissemination, reinforcing research integrity and open access to credible academic resources.
