Infotrieve and National Research Council of Canada extend information delivery and library services partnership -

Infotrieve, Inc., a leader in global-enterprise SaaS software and business services for scientific, technical and medical ("STM") published content access and management, has announced that it will extend its current partnership with the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) to exclusively provide information delivery and library services to the Canadian and international research communities for an additional two years.

Through this relationship, Infotrieve will continue to provide a multi-faceted set of services for NRC, including both library management, as well as content access via the award winning Mobile Library technology platform. As an e-content access and management solution, Mobile Library offers cloud-based access and management of the organisation's information assets, while simultaneously supporting content usage under Canadian copyright legislation via its comprehensive rights management engine.

Infotrieve will also continue to leverage the Canadian national science library collection comprising more than 56,300 serial titles, 836,000 books and conference proceedings, plus 2 million technical reports and indexed journals, in managing the world's largest collection of published STM research, with over 60 million citations.

Throughout the initial five-year engagement, the collaboration between Infotrieve and the National Research Council has continued to evolve, and now includes information delivery to more than 25 Canadian federal government departments.
