Information management company Infotrieve, Inc., US, has entered into agreements with six leading publishers and content aggregators. With this move, the company seeks to further expand the depth of content available from Infotrieve in the global scientific, technical and medical marketplace.
Infotrieve currently has partnerships with more than 140 publishers around the world and provides fast and cost effective copyright compliant delivery of their content to clients globally. New agreements with East View, Medknow and World Scientific expand Infotrieve's ability to deliver content published in China and India. Agreements with SPIE, Smithers Rapra and ACM add important content in the technical documents specialty segment.
In addition to the collections managed by each of these organisations, Infotrieve client's ordering via Virtual Library 2.0, Virtual Library 2.0+ and Content SCM platforms have access to more than 50 million citations within Infotrieve's proprietary database and its unique STM Library of managed print collections, including the NRC-CISTI Canadian national science library collection. More than 70 percent of client orders are delivered electronically, typically within five minutes or less.
