InterPore joins OA Switchboard as publisher participant -

InterPore, the International Society for Porous Media, has joined OA Switchboard as a publisher participant. The non‑profit scientific organization is dedicated to advancing and disseminating knowledge in the field of natural and industrial porous media. Its open‑access InterPore Journal provides a platform for research across the multidisciplinary area of porous media science and technology.

As an OJS‑based journal, InterPore Journal will use OA Switchboard’s OJS integration to share publication metadata in a standardized format. This approach is expected to improve the visibility and accessibility of its open‑access content among research funders, libraries, institutions, and consortia.

Laura Lenz, Editor of InterPore Journal, noted that joining OA Switchboard would enhance the discoverability of the journal’s publications and contribute to a more connected open‑access ecosystem. She emphasized that the integration would make trusted information about the journal’s output more easily shareable across the scholarly communication community.

The collaboration reflects OA Switchboard’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the visibility of open‑access publishing outputs and to support publishers in making research more accessible and transparent.
