Non-profit scientific publisher Institute of Physics (IOP) Publishing, UK, and the China National Science and Technology Library (NSTL) have signed a three year national agreement. The new arrangement will make 14 titles from seven major scientific societies available to Chinese researchers in 2012-2014.
The new deal includes journals published in partnership by IOP and several global scientific societies including the European Physical Society, the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and the Japan Society of Fluid Mechanics, and covers the fields of mathematics, physics, chemistry, fluid mechanics, electronic science and technology, medicine and biology.
This is the second arrangement between IOP and the NSTL following the 2008 deal which made the IOP historic archive accessible to researchers in China.
The titles made available by this deal are: Biofabrication; EPL; Fluid Dynamics Research; Izvestiya: Mathematics; Journal of Breath Research; Journal of Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics; Journal of Instrumentation; Journal of Statistical Mechanics: Theory and Experiment; Physica Scripta; Physics-Uspekhi; Quantum Electronics; Russian Chemical Reviews; Russian Mathematical Surveys; and Sbornik: Mathematics.
