The IOP and the British Institute of Radiology (BIR) have signed an agreement to strengthen collaboration between them and to offer a 25% discount on the first year of membership to existing members of the IOP who join the BIR, and vice versa.
The arrangement is set out in a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), which was signed by the IOP's chief executive, Professor Paul Hardaker, and the BIR's president, Andy Rogers, at the Institute's London centre on October 6.
The reciprocal arrangement means that existing IOP members who wish to join the BIR in addition to belonging to the IOP will receive a 25% discount on their first year of membership. Similarly, BIR members who wish to join the IOP will receive a 25% discount on their first year of membership.
BIR members who wish to join the IOP can do so via the BIR website. BIR members wishing to join the IOP should visit the Join Us section of the IOP website.
