John Wiley and Sons, Inc., a global leader in research and education, and Gen Infiniti Academy (GIA), a training provider for quality technical education in Singapore, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to expand their existing partnership which provides internationally recognised course curriculum and certifications that enable the local community in Singapore to upskill their digital capabilities and prepare for future workforce.
This strategic collaboration offers WileyNXT’s courses and certifications, including Wiley Certified Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Data Scientist, Finance and Accounting Analyst, Machine Learning and Python, to support the Singapore government’s wider efforts to accelerate digital transformation and bridge the digital skills gap in the job market. Under a government funding support initiative, the Critical Infocomm Technology Resource Programme Plus (CITREP+), learners can enjoy up to one hundred percent subsidy of the net payable course and certification fees.
The MoU was signed at Gen Infiniti Academy’s Gen Up and Celebrate: Tech Skills of the Future event, which brought together nearly 100 attendees, including a group of pioneer Wiley Certified Data Analyst graduates. Since the launch of the course, it has attracted 200 enrolments from learners with various educational and professional backgrounds.
