Educational publisher Jones and Bartlett Publishers, Inc. (J&B), US, has announced the acquisition of ClickSafety.com - a provider of online safety management solutions designed by and for safety training professionals. Terms of the agreements were not disclosed.
ClickSafety provides one of the most comprehensive catalogues of safety-focused online courseware available, covering general safety awareness for all employees, advanced safety training for specialised workers, and OSHA credential programmes for managers and supervisors. ClickSafety's e-Learning platform is a scalable, enterprise-class, web-based application that enables its customers to streamline and automate the many processes associated with learning management administration. This agreement further expands J&B's market leading position in safety training and education.
ClickSafety e-Learning solutions have been deployed to over 6,200 organisations worldwide including Fortune 100/500 customers, the world's largest construction companies, and the best-of-the-best in technology companies. In August 2008, the company announced the sale of its two-millionth course.
