The Journal of Emergency Medical Services (JEMS) and Take Heart America (THA) have announced the extension of their strategic partnership and collaboration specifically for JEMS to serve as the official and exclusive media partner of the inaugural THA's State of the Future of Resuscitation Conference. The conference is scheduled for September 28-29, 2018 in Oakland, California, where experts from around the world will discuss a wide range of topics related to advances in resuscitation science and clinical practice.
The State of the Future of Resuscitation Conference will be an international collaboration with JEMS, Alameda County, California, Dutch Resuscitation Council, Consortium of Metropolitan EMS Medical Directors (the Eagles), French Resuscitation Council and Minnesota Resuscitation Consortium. At the conclusion of the September conference, the speakers will draft a Task Force Report based upon a summary of the lecture content and panel discussions to be used today and in the future to optimise outcomes after cardiac arrest. The Task Force Report will be published in the December issue of JEMS.
JEMS will serve as THA's exclusive media partner and support the vital work and experience that Take Heart America and their State of the Future of Resuscitation Conference will deliver. The purpose of the conference is to provide a forum for some of the world's leaders on CPR to provide scientific updates on the most current and future anticipated advances in the field and on the state-of-the future of resuscitation.
The Journal of Emergency Medical Services seeks to improve patient care in the prehospital setting and promote positive change in EMS by delivering information and education from industry leaders, change makers and emerging voices. With a rich tradition of editorial excellence and an unparalleled consortium of subject matter experts and state-of-the-science content, JEMS fulfills its commitment to EMS providers, instructors and administrators through all media channels including online and print.
